Ducks Crossing is a boutique thoroughbred breeding and equine veterinary facility nestled amongst the picturesque countryside, vineyards and beaches of the beautiful Mornington Peninsula in Victoria.
It is operated by resident equine veterinarian, Dr Jacqui McGregor who has been involved with the veterinary care of Polanski since he was purchased by Robbie Laing as a yearling.
Polanski is aptly named after Roman Polanski, a brilliant Polish film-director of ill-repute. He is a big, strong, impressive and intimidating individual, and walks amongst horses and humans with a king-like aura and incredible self-belief.

Polanski was a champion, Australian bred thoroughbred racehorse and winner of the 2013 Group 1 Victorian Derby, as well as the Group 3 Norman Robinson Stakes and the listed UCI Stakes. He was rated top of the 2013 – 2014 Australasian 3YO classification.
